It seems like every time I pick up a financial newspaper or magazine, I see an article about another buyout.  Not just the usual big banks taking over little banks or big telephone companies taking over little telephone companies.  No, these articles make it seem like a group of rich people get together and think they can milk a bloated cash cow before it goes belly up!  In that spirit, I have compiled a list of my six favorite equity firm buyouts of popular brands in the last ten years.
