Are You Likable? PDF Print E-mail
One of my favorite sales gurus, Jeffory Gitomer, says being liked is the single most important factor in making sales.

This vidoe shows his explanation.

To Recap:  Like => Believe => Confidence => Trust.  You wont get anywhere if your prospect doesn't like you.

So, are you likable?

Perhaps a better question is, are you simply selling to people or are you building relationships?  How well are you connecting with your customers and potential customers?  Here are some of my favorite ways to keep the relationship process going.

1.  Solve a problem for them for free.
2.  Invite them to an event- like a seminar or networking event- as your guest.
3.  Send a note that has nothing to do with your product.
4.  Become genuinely interested in their life outside of business.

Remember, you're not just selling to potential customers.  You are also selling to employees, vendors, and other potential alliances.  Keep your relationships in perspective and be yourself- you will be likable.
